Monadnock A’s- Meeting Minutes- 3/23/25

Absent: Ronald Pastor, Ron Pastor Jr., Keith Bell, Laura & John Dunn.

Russell Reay- West Chesterfield

 Went around the room doing re-introductions of members and new members.

Heard some stories of 1 st model A’s or 10 th model A’s ownership over the years

for some….We have quite the collection among us already!

 Discussed take always for tune up/dust off day at central location TBD- April

 Craig- Timing adjustment maybe- if drivable ca get updated on--Tune Up Day

 Tom Eaton- Carburetor issue, turning over and firing- Hinsdale location storage.

Need at least 3 guys to help get it going. Need gas, water, tools, maybe a spare

carb to test. Date: TBD

 Eric- Timing issue (minor), squeaky crankshaft pulley, possible need of break

adjustment/wheel bearing.(a few death wobbles end of last season)

 Tom Rothermel- looking for parts for his pickup. We should get spare parts

listing maybe or some location we can discuss parts members have they want to

get rid of or don’t need. (trades or sale)

 Mechanical Lifts options! for future- Russell R. in West Chesterfield

 Craig S. Need his to transfer from Milford to Swanzey (new location TBD)

 Tom R. has location for lift (in market for one)- maybe a club pool donation to

help get one going? Could be helpful to have lift locations in West Chesterfield,

Swanzey & Fitzwilliam for the club members usage for share for “A”

maintenance.

April 26 th Dust off: who would like to attend?

Pre-War Car event May 17 th - Who wants to attend?

“Tune up” gathering of the club A’s- prior to 1 st tour. Date TBD

Next tour/lunch- Kick Off Spring “Covered Bridges of Swanzey”. To finish at 74

Warmac Road, Swanzey home of Jim Wall. TBD: Saturdays May 3 or 10 th ?
